By 2008 there were fifty teams and in 2012 there are fifty-seven competitive teams and over three hundred recreational players.

Why Choose La Roca?

La Roca is one of the top clubs in Utah and is strong and balanced in that both boys and girls have strong competitive teams. We have premiere competition teams in every age division and as a club have won the greatest number of State Cup Titles. Our Select teams compete at the President’s Cup with one of our teams winning the National Presidents Cup title in 2011.

What’s the La Roca difference?

When you join La Roca you become part of the rich history of the club. There’s a reason we are the best club in Utah, we have the best coaches. Many La Roca coaches are former professional players who not only know the game from a player’s perspective but receive training in every aspect of coaching.

Do La Roca players receive college scholarships?

Every year there has been an eligible team, La Roca players have been offered scholarships. The past four U18 Girls teams have had over fifty girls attain a scholarship. On the 93 and 94 Premiere girls team every member of the team committed to a college, the majority of these were Division One schools

La Roca boys also receive scholarships and have professional opportunities. There have been three players that have played at the Real Salt Lake Complex in Casa Grande, Arizona, two of them on full ride scholarships. La Roca has also sent a player to the United State National Residency Soccer Program for the top forty players in the country.

Why should a developing player choose La Roca?

La Roca’s coaches have played the game at the higher level, whether collegiate or professionally. They have received education specific to coaching. This is a great mix that benefits all levels of player.

Why should the Competition Player choose La Roca?

We understand competition and over the years we have proven that La Roca is always one of the best clubs in the state. Not only does La Roca compete in Utah, but teams compete throughout the country very successfully.
